Pretty cool kitbash. I "need" to learn how to paint like that someday.
Bry, it's not too tough. You just have to paint in layers. You can search earlier in the blog where I did the Pharoid capsules for a better explanation if you are interested.

If you check the archives for August 2004, you can see at the bottom a step by step look at the same painting scheme done on the Pharoid chambers. A little further up is a little 'article' called 'Painting the M25' which explains the whole thing in detail and if I am not mistaken there are even some links.
